Sideways rain, hour long sunsets, winds strong enough to bowl me over, mountains obscured defiantly by fog, an unexpected opening in the sky, the remnants of a crashing wave flail 40 feet in the air, miles and miles and miles of driving alone, too many waterfalls to count, let alone remember, cooking a michellen-star-deserving dinner of sausage and beans in the back of a car every night while the rain and wind pummel my moveable home, the feeling of inadequacy and failure a constant, lots and lots of photographs.
